Material identification

The resin specimens and natural amber are different materials

The six sea-life pieces are decorative specimens molded inside transparent
amber-style resin. They are not genuine fossils. One separate natural amber
specimen is also hidden inside the block.

Position the chisel and use light, controlled taps with the hammer.

After the excavation is complete, children can select two suitable
artificial resin pieces and attach them to the two supplied cords.
