Meet the collection
Five finds. Five story starters.
A mermaid, a fairy and a unicorn need somewhere to go. Add a star to search for and a rainbow to cross, and kids have the start of a story once the digging is done.
Mermaid, fairy and unicorn
Give each character a name and a role. Does the mermaid need help reaching the fairy’s castle, or is the unicorn leading the way?
Miracle Star and Fantasy Rainbow
Hide the star for the characters to find. Let the rainbow be a bridge, a finish line or the way home. Your child decides what happens next.
The five finds are toy figures and decorative pieces, not natural gemstones or fossils.
Inside the box
Pick a shape to begin.
Five digging blocks
A shell, castle, unicorn head, star wand and rainbow. Choose which shape to dig first and set the others aside for later.
One shared tool set
Includes one hammer, one chisel and one brush. Kids can take turns with the tools when digging together.
An illustrated Magic World guide
Read the supplied instructions before starting. Keep the guide outside the digging tray so it stays clear of loose material.
You’ll also need a tray or table covering and a small container for the cleaned treasures. Use your own from home.

From block to treasure
Small taps. A careful reveal.
Choose one block
Place one block on a covered surface or tray. Keep the others aside so loose material and unfinished digs stay separate.
Work from the outside
Follow the guide and use small taps and scrapes. Work around the treasure until it is free; avoid pulling it out while it is still buried.
Brush around the find
Switch to gentle brushing as the edges appear. Clear the surrounding material before lifting the treasure out.
Keep it, then continue
Set the cleaned treasure in your container. Start another block now or save the rest for another day.

Notice the first clue
A bit of color. Any guesses?
When a patch of color appears, ask, “What do you think you’ve found?” Brush a little more away and compare the find with the pictures in the guide.
Switch from chisel to brush
Use the chisel to loosen material around the find, then the brush to clear its edges. Help your child ease up as more of the treasure appears.
Pause without losing the pieces
Work on one block at a time. Keep an unfinished dig on its tray, out of reach of younger children, and store cleaned treasures separately.
Each block is for one dig. The five treasures are yours to keep and play with afterward.
After the digging
Build a world with the finds.
Move to a clean table once digging is finished. With your own paper and pencils, draw a sea, a castle and a path between them. Put the treasures on the map and choose where the story begins.
A missing-star adventure
Hide the star on the paper map. Let the mermaid, fairy and unicorn take turns finding a clue that leads to it.
A rainbow route
Decide what lies on each side of the rainbow. Children can explain how a character crosses it and who they meet next.
Use your own paper and pencils if you want to draw a setting. Or skip the map and tell a story with just the five finds.

Solo discovery or shared play
Five blocks. One set of tools.
For one child
Let your child choose the first block and decide when to start the next. Line up the cleaned treasures to see which ones are still waiting to be found.
For siblings or friends
Take turns at the digging tray. One child can brush a recovered piece while another starts the next block. Decide how to share the five treasures before you begin.
For a small party table
Set up a covered digging station with an adult nearby. Kids take turns using the shared tools. For five children to dig at once, you’ll need additional tools suitable for their ages.
